Composer Hasulki Baek (b.1983) is considered as one of the most thoughtful composers in Korea. He writes in a wide range of genres from classical to film and pop songs. He is best known for incorporating choral music with various genres. Baek is the creator and leader of the storytelling band Oh Baek-song-I where he writes music and plays the keyboard. He is also the director of a composition campaign  ‘My Story, Our Song’ which reaches out to various people, especially underrepresented people, creates songs together and perform them; the lyrics are based on their story, and Baek helps them to create melodies. He teaches composition at the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary (PUTS). He received bachelor’s (BM) and master’s (MM) degree in composition from the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary (PUTS).
