Hye-Young Cho (b. 1969) is considered one of the leading composers in South Korea. Her works have been performed in almost every choir and commissioned by most major professional choirs in South Korea. Notably, she was commissioned to write Te Deum for the opening concert of the World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM) held in Seoul, Korea (2014).
