Her choral works have been commissioned and performed by major
professional choirs in Korea including the National Chorus of Korea and Incheon City Chorale.

She is known for her versatile music driven by fluid melodies, lyricism,
and diverse musical approaches. Misun was awarded an honor certificate from
the Minister of Health and Welfare of Korea for her effort to rise social awareness of
Type 1 Diabetes through her composition, a choral-musical “A Very Special Gift.”
She holds a Master’s degree in composition from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (USA)
and Bachelor’s degree in composition from Hanyang University (Korea).
